Meet Marius:
I grew up in a small village near Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where everything revolved around community. Families worked the land together, sharing knowledge as well as what they grew and preserved.
When I moved to the UK, I carried that spirit with me, and to my surprise, I found that sense of shared effort again here in Wales.
Professionally, I’ve had the honour of being acknowledged for sommelier awards, and I’ve worked in some incredible places alongside talented chefs. My focus has now changed to sharing that knowledge and experience while continuing to develop my love and interest for wine.
That is what inspired the creation of the Y Marram Wine Club, a gathering of people brought together by curiosity and conversation, to create a space where wine becomes something shared and something that brings people closer together.
