Join us for Anglesey’s best food event, summer 2026. Live music. Long tables. Great food and drink. Under the canvas of the Y Marram Courtyard, Anglesey.
Each year we invite some of the UK's leading chefs to come and cook for us at Y Marram. Over the years we've hosted a brilliant mix of TV chefs, cookbook authors, Michelin-starred and otherwise notable chefs from across the country.
Picture the sitting under the canvas covered courtyard, with long banquet tables, live music from local artists, Q&A with your favourite chefs. It’s the kind of evening that's hard to find anywhere else in North Wales.

Adam Reid is back! Chef Patron of the four AA rosette awarded at The French, Manchester, owner of The Whippet & Pickle in Holmfirth, the culinary mind behind the dining experience at aether, and twice winner of BBC's Great British Menu!
Adam returns to Y Marram for a third year running. His bold, modern British cooking, rooted in Northern soul and seasonality, pairs perfectly with Ellis's ethos and Anglesey produce. This is always one of our most anticipated evenings of the year.

Jeremy Pang
Jeremy's last visit to Y Marram was a sold-out two-day event. He's back with something completely different: a Korean BBQ-inspired fire feast, live-fire cooking, and a Sunday session atmosphere that'll run long into the evening.

Tony Singh
Tony Singh MBE has been cooking professionally for over 30 years, from the Balmoral Hotel and Skibo Castle to the Royal Yacht Britannia, where he was head chef. He went on to open some of Edinburgh's most talked-about restaurants — Oloroso, Roti, and Tony's Table — and has appeared on Great British Menu, Saturday Kitchen, Cooking With The Stars alongside Ellis, and his BBC2 series The Incredible Spice Men alongside Cyrus Todiwala

Needing no introduction, Simon's approach to cooking is anything but cautious. Global influences, seasonal produce, and a knack for turning plants into something people genuinely crave. For this one-night-only evening at Y Marram, Simon and Ellis will collaborate on a tasting menu that brings that same confidence to Anglesey's produce.

HOW it Works
The Guest Chef Series is a ticketed event. Each chef hosts one (sometimes two) nights alongside the Y Marram team, cooking up their own menu in our kitchen, and with our usual North Wales produce touch.
The format is relaxed and sociable. Doors and the bar open around 5pm, with live music from a local artist. We ask all guests to be seated by 5:45pm, unless otherwise stated on your event booking.
The evening runs as a set banquet menu, typically shared with guests a week in advance so you know what's coming and can get suitably excited. Everyone eats the same, and the food comes out together.
We aim to have a vegetarian option available at all events, though our ability to accommodate allergens and other dietary requirements is limited. Any requests must be confirmed before purchasing tickets, so please get in touch first if you have concerns.
Partway through the evening, usually after the main course, Ellis and/or Liam will host the guest chef for a Q&A. Guests are warmly encouraged to come armed with questions.
Dessert follows, and the evening wraps up around 10pm. The bar stays open until 10:30pm.
