Anglesey’s best food event is back for 2026
The Guest Chef Series is back for 2026, and sees a return to the alfresco dining experience under the canvas of the courtyard, as we welcome some of the UK's top chefs to share their menus with us.
What Is The Guest Chef Series?
Each year we invite some of the UK's leading chefs to come and cook for us at Y Marram. Over the years we have had a diverse mix of TV chefs, cookbook authors, Michelin-starred and notable chefs from across the UK.
In 2024 we hosted the Guest Chef Series in the marquee upon the courtyard at Y Marram, from where we catered for up to 100 guests. In 2025, we took the more intimate setting of hosting up to 40 guests inside Y Marram. This year we return to the alfresco setting of the courtyard, with the long banquet tables, live music, and great food and drink.

How does it work?
The Guest Chef Series is a ticketed event, with each chef hosting one - sometimes two - nights alongside the Y Marram team, cooking up their own menu in our kitchen.
The format is relaxed and sociable. Doors and the bar open around 5pm, with live music from a local musician to ease you in. We ask all guests to be seated by 5:45pm, unless otherwise stated on your event booking.
The evening runs as a set banquet menu, typically shared with guests a week in advance so you know what's coming and can get suitably excited. Everyone eats the same, and the food comes out together.
We aim to have a vegetarian option available at all events, though our ability to accommodate allergens and other dietary requirements is limited. Any requests must be confirmed before purchasing tickets, so please get in touch first if you have concerns.
Partway through the evening, usually after the main course, Ellis and/or Liam will host the guest chef for a Q&A, and guests are warmly encouraged to come armed with questions.
Dessert follows, and the evening wraps up around 10pm. The bar remains open until 10:30pm.
