About Tony
We're delighted to welcome Tony Singh MBE back to Y Marram for a one-night-only guest chef evening celebrating his distinctive Scottish-Asian cooking, seasonality, and shared dining.
Tony has been cooking professionally for over 30 years. He trained classically in French technique before taking on roles at the Balmoral Hotel, Skibo Castle, and the Royal Yacht Britannia, where he was head chef. He went on to open some of Edinburgh's most talked-about restaurants — Oloroso, Roti, and Tony's Table (which picked up a Michelin Bib Gourmand in its first year). On television he co-hosted BBC2's The Incredible Spice Men with Cyrus Todiwala, and is a regular on Great British Menu, Saturday Kitchen, and Ready Steady Cook. He holds an MBE for services to hospitality and is a member of the Masterchefs of Great Britain.
The night will feature a Scottish-Asian fusion tasting menu — Scottish produce, South Asian heritage, big flavours, and that unmistakable Tony Singh energy. Expect beautiful food, live music, and a Q&A with Tony during the evening.
With just one sitting from 6:00pm, the evening is yours to savour. Join us under the canopy for an unforgettable dining experience.

Important Information
Due to the nature of this guest chef event and the collaborative menu, we’re unable to accommodate dietary requirements on this occasion.
This is a social dining experience, with shared tables, designed to encourage conversation and shared enjoyment. Guests will be seated with fellow diners unless an entire table is booked.
The menu will be released one week prior to the event.
Tickets are non-refundable for guest chef events
Parking, Staying Over & Accommodation
Guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight in the car park over the road, at their own discretion.
Motorhomes and caravans are welcome on site for the evening, subject to availability.
We also have on-site accommodation available.
