What's On? November 2026

Stalls and shoppers at Marchnad Y Marram Market, Niwbwrch.

The clocks have gone back, the seasonal campers have packed up for the year, and Niwbwrch has gone a little quieter, which is great if you are looking for a peaceful stroll through the forest, or a blustery one to Ynys Llandwyn.

Here's everything on at Y Marram this November.

October got a little blowy towards the end, which caused a bit of disruption (Storm Austen saw to that), but the Calan Gaeaf barbecue went ahead indoors on the 24th, and Sensori Sara's family workshops moved to half-term. Liam Higginson's talk is still to be rearranged.

Anglesey Trail Half Marathon park and ride

Sunday 1 November | 6:40am to 1:30pm | park and ride at Y Marram

The Anglesey Trail Half Marathon's park and ride runs from our site this morning, so the car park will be busy until about 1:30pm. If you're joining us for breakfast, allow a few extra minutes. And if you're running, we're open from 9am for a well-earned breakfast afterwards.

Wine Club with Marius

Friday 13 November | 7:30pm to 10pm | £55 per person, seasonal dish included

Wine Club is back, on Friday the 13th (which feels about right after a Halloween month). Marius, our sommelier, takes you through five wines he's chosen for the night, with a comforting seasonal dish partway through. No wine knowledge needed. It's sociable and informal, and the conversation follows the room.

Doors open at 7pm, the bar stays open all evening, and you can buy any wine you've tried at retail price. The wines and the dish go up on the page a week before.

Espresso & Latte Art Workshop with Social Hour Coffee

Saturday 14 November | 10am to about 12:30pm | £80 per person

Better coffee at home, taught by the man who roasts ours. Andy Kimmelshue of Social Hour Coffee, who supplies the beans we use every day, is back for a morning with home baristas, from complete beginners to the properly keen. He'll take you through dialling in an espresso, steaming milk and pouring latte art, with dairy and plant milks both on hand. There are only eight places in the Studio, so book early, and arrive from 9:30am for a 10am start.

Marchnad Y Marram

Saturday 21 November | 10:30am to 4pm

Our monthly market is back on the third Saturday, with local food, drink and craft on the doorstep and a chef demo. With Christmas a month away, it's a good morning to pick up presents made on the island.

Seasonal Development Menu

Saturday 28 November | from 6pm | £100 per person, paired wines £65

November's tasting menu, built from whatever Anglesey is giving us that week. The menu is released a week before, and booking ahead is essential.

Cranberry, Orange & Spice Fermentation with Bwblin

Sunday 29 November | 10am to 1pm | £65 per person, take-home jar included

"This is an absolute staple in my family! We make it in November every year, it's perfect with the roast turkey sandwiches on Boxing Day." That's Anna Lloyd of Bwblin on her cranberry, orange and spice ferment, and she'll take you through it from scratch, from salting the fruit to mixing the spice paste and packing your jar.

You go home with a jar that makes a very personal Christmas present (or keep it, we won't judge). All skill levels are welcome, and breakfast before or lunch after makes a morning of it.

Out and About

We're out on the road this month too, catering for private parties at their own venues and cottages. If you've a celebration coming up and fancy restaurant food without the washing up, drop us a line at catering@ymarram.com.

Stay

Both campsites have now closed for the season, but White Lodge Cottage is still open and available over the coming months. Three ensuite bedrooms, a woodburner, an enclosed garden, dogs welcome, and the restaurant at the end of the drive. Enquire also about a Private Chef for the night.

We're also reviewing the number of seasonal pitches available for 2027. If you're interested in a seasonal pitch, get in touch with Newborough Holidays at info@newboroughholidays.com.

Opening Hours

We're open Thursday to Sunday. Thursday and Friday 9am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 10pm (limited food 3pm to 5pm, last food booking 9pm), and Sunday 9am to 6pm (last food booking 4pm).
